A good introduction paragraph has a good attention grabber and a clear, focused idea. It has interesting ideas that make the reader want to keep on reading. The introduction also has good organization so the reader understands the topic. To make it interesting for the reader, there should be variations of sentences and words that appeal to the readers senses so they want to keep reading. A good introduction paragraph is the lead in to the rest of the essay, so it needs to be interesting and catch the readers attention.
