Journal - Who is the oldest family member of your family you have ever met? What do you know about your family history? Have your parents ever told you anything thing about your family history? Do you know what kind of heritage you have? Explain as much as you can about your family and any history you have knowledge of. My great Aunt Barbara was 100 when she died. My dad's side of the family all lives to be in their 90's and my mom's side lives into their 80's. My mom's side of the family has a history of Alzheimer's. My grandma has it right now and it really sad because you see her getting worse and worse. My dads grandparents are from Croatia and they didn't speak any English. My grandpa knows how to speak it but never taught anyone. My moms grandparents are from Germany and so are her dad's grandparents. My moms dad died when she was three from an accident. Here sister, my Aunt, has had Breast Cancer and Ovarian Cancer, and my grandma on my dad's said had breast cancer. Both my grandmas have a lot of information about our families.

Journal - Which web design platform did you choose - Wix or Weebly? What are three things you've learned about Web Design so far?

I used Wix. I think it looked easier to use. So far, I have learned that Web Design isn't that hard. You just have to make sure that you keep things consistent. Also you don't want it to be overwhelming, but you don't want it to be boring. I think Web Design is fun, but I wish it was a little easier.

Journal - What have you learned about making a website? Explain.

I have learned it is very hard and takes a lot of work. You have to make everything coordinate and make sure nothing is too flashy. It also has to be easy to use. Another thing you have to make sure of is that there is no personal information on it. We learned about online safety and that is one thing you have to be aware of. You also have to be careful of copyright.

Journal - What do you know about building and creating a website? Have you ever done it before? List qualities of a well designed and well functioning website.

I have made one before. I made one by myself once, but I didn't work out too well..  I know it takes a long time because you want to make it look good. I think you can only access it from the computer you created it on. Some good qualities of a website are color and easy to use. You should make it so the person using it can find what they want easily and also have it be unique so it looks good.

1. Jalen Fulce - too many shoes - I thought it was original and it flowed really well. It wasn't too short and it also had good music to it. I thought it was really good and it wasn't just the same thing over and over again.
2. Anakin Miller - the action figure wars - I thought it was very entertaining. It didn't show the same thing over and over. It also had music that went well with it. I think it flowed nicely; it wasn't very choppy. I thought it was also well put together.
3. Maggie Conners - rubic cube solving - I thought it was original. I also thought it was cool because it is very hard to solve those. I think the video flowed very well and wasn't choppy. It was a very good idea.

Journal - Tell me about two things you've learned while creating you stop-motion animation video. Go in to detail about those two items.

I have learned that stop-motion animation is when you take a bunch of pictures and put them together and they make a video. I also learned that you have to have a very steady thing to help you take your pictures. That way all your photos don't move around too much and don't vary to much from one to the next. I think this is a really cool thing because there are lots of famous movies made from this. I think it would be super hard to make a movie out of this.
